Q: What is the minimum investment I can open an account with?

A: You can open an account with PKR 100,000/-. This amount will be available to you for trading stocks after deduction of CDC and NCCPL annual charges (Rs.1,000/-).

Q: Can I transfer my shares from another brokerage firm?

A: Yes, you can easily transfer your shares from your previous broker to your new active account. Please make sure that "TITLE" of new account is the same as your previous account with the other broker.

Q: What are the commission rates?

Q: Will I have to provide biometric verification if I open account through your online portal?

Q: How can I transfer funds to my account?

Q: How can I withdraw amount from my account?

A: Cheque for withdrawal amount will be transferred to your bank account after settlement of shares (settlement takes place within 2 working days) SCS Fund Transfer NOTE: Always send acknowledgement email of fund transfer to info@scstrade.com after transfer.

Q: What taxes are deducted from my account?

A: Tax is charged as follows: 1. Upon transaction, 13% SST (Sindh sales tax) is applied to the commission and CDC handling charges amount, for example; if you trade 1000 shares of Rs.5/- each (total Rs.5,000), a commission of Rs.30/- + Rs.4/- CDC handling is charged. 13% SST is applied on Rs.34/- 2. At year end, 12.5% CGT for Tax-Filler | 30% for Non-filler (Capital gain tax) is charged on your accumulated gain. For example, if your profit for 10 Months was Rs.10,000/- and in 2 months you had a loss of Rs.2,000/-, the CGT will be applied on Rs.8,000/- (Net Gain).
